Broadcast 300 series

Broadcast 300 series

  • The Broadcast series (MB-300 series) comprises of the MB-315, MB-325 and MB-350 matteboxes. These matteboxes are specifically designed for use with ENG/EFP broadcast cameras. They are made from machined aluminum and other high-tech materials to cope with the rigors of broadcast news, drama and documentary production.
  • The most noticeable difference between these three matteboxes is the different filter-tray configuration. All of these matteboxes are designed as clip-on, however using a bars adapter they can also be used on a 15mm rail support.
  • These matteboxes combine precision engineering with simplicity and ease-of-use for professional internal focus lenses with a maximum front outside diameter of 105mm. The Quick-Lock mounting system attaches directly to the front lens barrel. For extra support, these matteboxes can be used on standard 15mm rails. These matteboxes accommodate 3X3” through 4x6” filters and work with most wide angle lenses in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. For even more reduction of lens flare, the standard top flag and patented internal “eyebrows” are also included. The MB-315 has one rotating and one fixed 4”x4” filter frame. The MB-325 has two independently rotatable 4”x4” filter frames. The MB-350 can handle up to 4 filters, of which two are fully rotatable
